Hi all, Some reason this game makes me drool. So probably I'll buy it. (and probably be mad when I find out its been overhyped and is a piece of junk). I had to buy 2 gigs of ram and a new video card so maybe my computer will run it. Anyone heard anything good or bad about this game?
I'm getting one for my x360 as soon as it comes out (28th I think).
Gamespot.com has a nice preview with several gameplay movies - be sure to check it ouy before you buy.
Picked up my preorder yesterday and put in a few hours last night. I loved it and think it has great potential. I really like the Oblivion engine and if I understand it right they fixed the things about it that I didn't like (automatic leveling and the world leveling up with you).
The game itself seems to be sticking true to the past Fallout games in terms of grittiness and humor. I haven't played near enough to know for sure though... one can only hope.
Well I got it today and I love it. Its a great game I really like that if you run off guns a blazing that you will run out of ammo and probably be dead!!
My friend picked up this game last week...I got my first glimpse at it on Thursday. This game looks pretty intense! I'm thinking I'll have to pick it up when my tax return comes in!
I think it's awesome how making certain decisions at one point in the game effects what happens later on...for example, on Thursday, while he was showing me the gameplay, he decided to kill some trader woman, or whatever she was. Well, I was talking to him last night, and he's telling me that he's a considerable distance farther in the game, and now that lady's son is stalking him, trying to kill him, or something like that. That's really cool!
