It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to get on 50 at this point if they lived there. If we're talking about going to Arlington/catching the metro it would be much easier to get on Central Avenue from this point. Central Avenue is much further down to drive to Arlington and if he wanted to catch the metro then Largo Town Center and Morgan Blvd are both right off of Central Avenue.

There really does need to be an exit there.

But hey, not having an exit from 704 to 197 just makes my commute less congested.
I completely agree with you. I also think they need to expand 193. It has developed and is developing more than that road will be able to handle in a few years. It would make a lot of sense to add an extra lane each way and add a ramp.

Another important thing to consider is if you have kids-the schools are important. As someone who lives in Millersville(next door to Severna)-Severna has schools that are ranked at the state level, so is Shipleys Choice. Bowie is fine if you plan to send kids to private schools, Montgomery county and Howard counties are also good school districts

We want to take up some place in-between, so that we can split the commute time. Can you guys please recommend where should we live?

What would be the safest & the best place to live, considering daily we have to commute to Arlington VA, Severna Park, MD respectively.

I would really appreciate any guidance & thanks in advance!
If you have kids it would make more sense to live in or near Severna Park.

There are times when aparent has to go to school for the kids.

You may have a doctors appt for the kids, then take them to school.

Many people live in the greater Severna Park area and commute to DC and No VA.
