Any idea where this Art Walk is? Not a lot of press about it. It would have been nice if the author of the article included pictures.

I can't wait.

Isabella, whom you may recognize from his stints on “Top Chef,” will bring an outpost of Kapnos Taverna to The Hotel at the University of Maryland this summer.

The restaurant will focus on classic and coastal-inspired Greek dishes, with traditional versions of the classics as well as contemporary twists from executive chef George Pagonis, another “Top Chef” alum. A Greek-heavy wine list and Mediterranean-inspired cocktails will also be offered.

If you walk or drive by the HOtel at UMD, you can see the restaurant interior designs taking shape. I'm surprised they didn't cover the windows. There are some pretty neat restaurant interiors being developed. Definitely top notch. From what I can tell, BAgles 'n Grinds will have a very modern look with natural stone materials.

HEre's an example of the one in Arundel Mills.

Default College Park Academy Public Charter School

Last night the county Board of Education approved renewal of a contract with the College Park Academy charter school for a five year term. The Academy will be moving into a new school building just off of River Road, southeast of the College Park Metro Station in August. For the first time the contract calls for a local catchment area for up to 35% of new students, beginning in 2018. Elementary schools which make up the local catchment area are: Berwyn Heights, Cherokee Lane, Hollywood, Paint Branch and Riverdale. In the coming school year the school will cover grades 6-11, expanding to 12th grade in fall 2018. Approximately 100 students are enrolled in each grade.

This website claims that UP is also included in the catchment: College Park Academy to get Contract Renewal, Catchment Area for City Students | KabirCares.org

Is that accurate?

Yes, its included. It is 5 of the 6 schools that have College Park children. Excludes school where Camden and other apartment across the street go (was Jefferson Park). Includes Riverdale, as the school is located in Riverdale Park.
