i will admit to favoring Snyder over John Cooke at the time. Cooke was a milktoast, he was another Abe Pollin. If he were the owner Charley Casserly and Norv Turner would still be here despite 24 years of sub .500 results. It didn't take me long to see Snyder's true colors but let's not pretend at the time there was not excitement.

As for the name change I'm pretty much done with discussing it. I loved the name Redskins and the unforms, second only to the Steeler's black. But a name which describes a group of people by the color of their skin is not right, that should not be too hard to understand.

As for Bud Light I continue to laugh at the redneck homophobic bigots who no longer buy a product they used to consume by the 12 pack over their partnership with someone who is LGBTQ. If I didn't hate light beer I would be a consumer just over this.

Yes, they moved up to the Industrial park to a new location years ago. Easier in and out then 202. BH use to handle the old CAP Center , again I was just curious.

IMO, you are very small minority.

Cooke got how many Super Bowls? And how many did snyder get.

I don't they ever made the playoffs under snyder. But, you are entitled to your opinion.

Jack Cooke's will stipulated that the team must be sold after his death. John Cooke attempted to purchase and or change the will. Because of this fact, John's hands were tied as far as moving the team forward. He maintained what was left of the team in order to sell. However, Turner had a good year with Brad Johnson in which Synder destroyed. Brand Johnson went to Tampa Bay and won the Superbowl.

Change the name back to what it supposed to be The Washington Redskins. Grow a pair....stop being politically correct.

All the tribal leaders showed up in fill dress for the official announcement of the team.

The Indian Nation has voted TWICE on the subject and over 80% are NOT offended.

I could careless what you personally think about it.

I've been a REDSKIN fan my entire life and will CONTINUE no matter what any snowflake "feels"!

We used to be nation of "majority rules". Now what seems whenever few complain we ALL have to bow down to their wishes.
Wow......I vote for PWT, Hillbillies, or Crackers.

They're all just as stupid as your post.

The Post was very transparent with their poll. It was conducted with standard and legitimate methedology. And contrary to your statement, it backed up what every poll has ever said. Publications like Sports Illustrated found the same thing. Really, it is so hard to accept that most of the indigenous peoples of North America just don't care?

Suddenly, when the truth was unacceptable to the woke, the Post commissioned another effort, this time tweaking it with woke nonsense. There is your suspect poll.

As for the name Redskins, have you never noticed that indigenous peoples aka Indians aka Native Americans do not have red colored skin?

The name change prevailed because a loud but tenacious minority were relentless while the majority never took it seriously. That is often how policy is made and other examples are numerous.
Redskins is not coming back. Get over it.
