In my humble opinion, as a DC resident, is that DC should be given back to Maryland. The Federal Government will never give DC statehood or representation in Congress. I don't think that VA is going to take DC as DC was never part of VA in the first place. DC and Maryland are very liberals so it will be a good marriage.
DC should annex Baltimore and then it can be called "Washingmore"
