Most people? According to what? Everyone who wants to get to Georgetown has taken the bus with no problem. Do you think a streetcar isnt a bus or something? Like I said, nobody complains about Georgetown being inaccessible by bus, only by train. You just want a streetcar for tourists to avoid riding the bus with locals. Its not about a streetcar being "desperately needed," its about yuppies with money being able to skip riding bus routes with hoodrats on them, right?
