im so sick of people looking up faulty city data and spreading it around like its fact...you people are annoying get lifes instead of looking up random nonsense data online lol gig harbor?? lol wow... 1 murder a year, meanwhile Tacoma and Yakima are averaging like 20 to 60 lol and yet it has higher crime? go drive threw gig harbor or Puyallup then drive to mlk in hilltop or Portland ave in east Tacoma and tell me what you witnessed.. idiots

Gig Harbor has less residents, so the crime is more concentrated. The thing with GH is that the media is totally absent here, so the crimes are not broadcast to anyone. Port Orchard, to the north, has almost as much crime as Detroit, statistically.. SKagit County is quite crime-infested, as well.

Pointless to compare towns and cities. Cities generally have good and bad areas, which average out. Towns (and neighborhoods) tend to be much more one way or the other.
