Hi! I was doing some research on different towns to possibly relocate to, and Gig Harbor caught my eye. It looks like a great place to set up shop and write. I did have a few concerns, though. I'm a young (20) female who will be living alone. Is it a good place to meet people around my age? I'm not looking for a party/nightclub town or anything like that, I just don't want to be completely friendless. Also, is it safe?

Hi there - we lived in the Harbor for over 10 years and have a 19 year old son. All of his friends were made either through school or work. I'm sure you won't have any trouble making friends. On the safety issue, Gig Harbor is very safe! It is a wonderful place to live if you can deal with the gloomy/rainy weather!
