Edit: Correct term for map above is above normal/below normal. Not necessarily Warm/Cold.

Obviously above normal in Canada in winter still means "cold". lol. But above normal here means torching hot.

The only thing that I am predicting for the winter of 2018-2019 in the Indianapolis area is that it won’t be a carbon copy of last winter, my prediction at this point is that straightforward and simple

I'd say bring it. I'm a summer guy but as a weather fan winter is the most exciting season.

OMG. All this talk of winter just makes me crave a full-on Blizzard.

Is there someplace in U.S. with easily accessible snow cover in August ? Half of Glacier Park in Montana is closed now due to the fire (and not sure if there still would be snow hikes available this late in summer).

Weren't there some hike-accessible peaks in Colorado with snow even in August ? Never hills or something...
