In case you didn't catch it, those photos are of Bella Coola, British Columbia,Canada. I made another Rate the Climate for it.

Only one road to access the rest of continent, and it's not completely paved (I think). Ferry, too.

another triple A+ climate, no bias toward Alaska. Why does this one get more F's than Vancouver? These two climates are virtually are same. Juneau is not as cold as Boston and barely colder than New York.

False.

Juneau is much more cloudier, and colder than Vancouver.

Juneau also gets much more precipitation than Vancouver. (which is not a bad thing for me but I am just making a point).

They are noticeably different from each other in weather climates.

Vancouver weather got a C- from while Juneau weather gets a D-.

^^ I just checked the Chicago thread, many people including you gave Chicago B, knowing that its winter is 10 times colder than Juneau. People don't look at stat and automatically assume everything in alaska is a frozen tundra. kinda ridiculous i think.

I take back my A for Chicago. It's too hot in the summer.

No I gave Chicago a B-.

I give Juneau a lower grade because it doesn't get warm or even actual summers. It also is too cloudy and not enough sunshine most of the time.
I like its annual precipitation but the other things just automatically bring Juneau down to a D- for me.

I already knew Juneau is not a frozen tundra like Fairbanks but it is still cold.
And Fairbanks actually gets warmer summers than Juneau.

F (I'd give it a Z if I could)..

Way above average precipitation with snow, below average temperatures.. I can't think of a city with a worse climate in the world.

While I agree Juneau is incredibly mild (considering it’s latitude) it is a bit of a stretch to say that “it’s barley colder than NYC in winter:

Juneau/Ave monthly temp: National Weather Service Climate National Weather Service Climate National Weather Service Climate

Dec: 29.8 F
Jan: 28.2 F
Feb: 30.1 F

NYC/Ave monthly temp: National Weather Service Climate
Dec: 37.9 F
Jan: 33.0 F
Feb: 35.7 F

Using that logic - one could say that Madrid, Spain or Richmond, VA (mean temps 41 F in January) are just “barley” warmer than NYC in winter.

Juneau is much cloudier than Vancouver - gets only 30% of the possible sun. In my book, a horrible dreary climate.
