It hasn't hit 90°F where I live since September 19th. Though Denver has already seen it and I've been in it downtown, where we live is usually about 5 degrees cooler on average. So Sunday or Monday are our chances to finally hit 90°F. Night time lows are in the 50s now, and the air con has turned on and off a few times, so Summer is settling in here in Littleton, CO.

Last night it was 46F. Cold rain, lots of rain. Was shivering strongly from getting soaked and 50F and wind. Eeek.
Well, today the Oregon coast seems to be heating up into the upper 70s. I am glad they are finally getting some summer like warmth.
You are right though before today it was those temperatures there.
San Francisco the next 5 days might not even reach 60 degrees.
Today, it is in the low and mid 50s there with heavy rain, cloudy, and a cold wind.
San Francisco this past January had plenty of high temperatures warmer than the high temperatures for most of this May, June, and even Last July.
I've been following the melt in Kimmirut on Baffin Island the last few weeks and no summer there yet (yet it apparently has got to 25.6C once, more than places like the Shetlands as far as I'm aware), but looks like the ice on the bay is starting to melt with the recent rain. It's just insane that this place is probably no more than 200 miles north of Oslo or St Petersburg yet there's still snow around into June:
Highest temperature of the year the other day was 72 degrees here in Buxton, looks like highs of around 52-57 degrees for the next week or two, with rain and cloud being common. Summer 2011 is on hold...
It's 9°C / 48°F here in Buxton at mid-day after a heavy shower with hail and now more rain and overcast conditions for the next week, with no highs greater than 13°C / 55°F forecast. Could this end up being one of the coldest Junes ever?

I'd like to see the figures for how bad June can be in Buxton - Bingley in June 1991 averaged 10.1C (and wasn't 1972 colder nationally? Don't have time to access the data atm) so I bet Buxton would have had an entire summer month averaging below 10C.

I guess a crap June could have an average max of about 13°C / 55°F
As for June 91 well I lived in Berkshire then so it wasn't that bad.
