Yeah our sun is basically all concentrated in the summer months where it is just blue skies and sun and we go into drought mode while the winter is mostly overcast/raining. Yesterday was hailing here lol.

Yesterday was partly cloudy and cool in Seattle. It didn't rain during the day at all. Last two Aprils have been bad overall. But seems like some nicer weather is on the way. Olympia is usually warmer during the day in the warmer months.

I basically stopped bothering to read forecasts here anymore except in summer to see how hot it will be. Any other time of year it seems the whole entire forecast can change in the course of a day. Like the other week when I checked it basically looked like what you posted...just cloudy and no rain then I check the next day and it was nothing but rain and it rained most of the week after lol. Yeah summers down here are a bit warmer. Fiancee is actually trying to move us up to Puyallup in the next couple months.

This April is already the 4th wettest on record. The record is not likely to be broken though since it looks mostly dry the rest of the month.

The only thing that I don't like about weather here in Seattle is that it is very slow to warm up. Avg high temp for March and April are just 4 degrees apart. It often struggles to reach 60F in April. And Even early May can still have days in the 50s. I remember June 2008 was one of the gloomiest on records. Every day cloudy cloudy cool. Summer finally showed up at the end of the month. Other than that it is awesome here.

June 2008 was worse than May that year.

And that is highly unusual. They usually see 80f in late May or June. At least that has been the case in the last several years. But they are going back to normal on Monday. Climates like that cannot stay consistently hot in April. We had 80s for almost a week in April 2016. It's hard to forget because it doesn't happen often.
