Notice the solar noon time doesn't fall exactly on the halfway between sunrise and sunset. It falls 5mins before the halfway. It's because the later pace of sunset. On the late summer, the opposite, falls after the halfway, because of the earlier pace of sunset.

Rate of the solar time change.

For example, if in 1st April sunrise at 6:30, and in 11th sunrise at 6:00, the pace/rate of change is earlier 3 mins / day.

Contrastly here, people can't cope with 8pm sunsets because it's extremely late for here in the tropics.

8 pm sunset? What is that?

But I'm really curious about long daylength. How does it feel? I've been to places far from the equator several times but in a strange coincidence, they're all during winter (not even spring or fall).

It feels quite weird.

At 11pm the sun does not feel like 12pm. Its much lower and the traffic is much lower.

I do find it weird when its bright at 3am...
