That was about 3 mins of post.

Summary of what I did. Taken with Canon 7D, Tamron 17-50mm at 17mm, f/8.0, ISO 100. 5 brackets at 1 stop spacing with EV0 at 1/45 shot RAW. Import the RAW files into Lightroom, export to HDR Efex Pro which merges the 5 exposures, then back to LR for final edit and export to jpeg for upload.

The difference in here and Florida at night is massive.

We now have pitch dark nights though.

Really noticable that we're slowly heading to autumn (astronomically speaking), the bright nights are long gone and also officially we have a true night again.

Times for today: 4th August 2014
Begin Astronomical Twilight: 02:31
Begin Nautical Twilight: 04:04
Begin Civil Twilight: 05:03
Sunrise: 05:46
Noon: 13:32
Sunset: 21:17
End Civil Twilight: 21:59
End Nautical Twilight: 22:58
End Astronomical Twilight: 00:27 (tomorrow)

Altitude at noon: 53.6°

Was pitch dark tonight at about 11:20 PM with a clear sky.

And this was the sunset tonight- shot with an aperture of F22, exposure 1/10 sec.
