From tomorrow onwards, we will have a later sunset than London. On Feb 14 we will go over the 9-hour mark, on Feb 25 the ten-hour.

We are gaining 4 minutes each day now. Tomorrow, our sunsets will become later than places like Worcester, MA (where nei lives, I believe), won't be long until our sunrises catch up.

The extreme west of Ireland has a solar noon of 12:56pm today!

Solar noon in Boston is 4:57pm- Difference here of 4 hours and 16 minutes.
Solar noon in Eastern Maine is 4:41pm- Difference of 4 hours.

Solar noon in St Johns - 3:44pm- Difference of 3 hours and 3 minutes!

never realised that the difference between here and East coast USA was only 4 hours!
