Where are you located? Personally I'm happy with our sunset times between March and September. Once it drops below 7pm though they start getting too early for my liking. Without DST, our latest sunset would be around 8pm in June which is unacceptable IMO.
Still, I'd take our sunset times over the east coasts any day, especially Maine's.
I wish I could understand why so many people hate Daylight Saving Time. I love being able to be outside on a warm summer night when it's 9:00 P.M. and the sun is just barely setting.

I start work at 5am, so I have to get up in the dark and start work in the dark every day
