As from today, you can download various climate data for all German stations here: ftp://ftp-cdc.dwd.de/pub/CDC/
Previously, data for only a few selected stations were freely available.
For example, to get the main daily data for a specific station, go to:
observations_germany/
climate/
daily/
kl/
recent/ or historical/
click on the first link to view the station id in the first column
and then download the zip file with your id number in its name
I've just been on the DWD site and there's a good set of tables for temperature / precip / sunshine hours for various German locations, plus numbers of frost / ice days and days with maxima above 25 and 30C.
In case you haven't noticed yet. NOAA has done an AWESOME just at revamping the climate section. Now available with each NWS Office. They added the "NowData" section.
