Also, the Glenshane snow storm you posted is not typical at all, it's as atypical as the late spring snowstorm I posted above.

What's up with you and April. Those flowers can bloom with only a slight hint of spring temps. Also spring temperatures can start in February in NI due to the effect of the ocean, while London and the east in general are still experiencing winter ish temperatures due to being less exposed to that mild crap.
It really does DEPEND on location. North, south, east, urban area or rural location.

Yes, we do get mild temperatures in April but not the kinda of Mildness that London gets. The record high for London in February is 20c, here it is 14c. While London is under an Easterly flow and Ice Cold it will always be below average here, they are not that far away.
