Sidney. Mean daily minimum in July 8.9 °C (48 °F) . Average rainfall mm (inches) in Juny 142.
I don't like being cold or hot. I would like to live in a place where it is not more than 20 ºC (68 ºF) nor less than 15 ºC (59 ºF). I also don't like going out with an umbrella in my hand. Sydney is not that place. The only flaw of the Canary Islands is that in summer it is a little hot, but a place with perfect weather does not exist on earth. Nowhere do you have a maximum of 20 ºC (68 ºF) and a minimum of 15 ºC (59 ºF) all year round. There is no such place, but the Canary Islands are the closest thing.
Raoul Island comes pretty close. 13-21C nights, 19-26C days and Norfolk Island is largely the same. Rapa Island (French Polynesia) is a bit warmer and has 16-23C nights and 19-26C days.
Those are all moderately to significantly humid though, so I like that, but you might prefer Saint Helena. Or maybe Hawaii at ~2000-2500 ft.
I don't mind 8-10C nights too much. That's still fairly warm if the days are 15-20C. You mostly go outside during the day... (today we had a high of -12C, yesterday too, so 15-20C days is paradise by comparison).
I am Spanish and in summer in Marbella it is very hot. I wanted to see Puerto Banus and I had to leave because it was too hot. I will never return to the Costa del Sol in summer.
Usually it's not that hot there? Average high of 27-28C... But more towards Lisbon is milder in the summer.

Raoul Island has good weather all year round, but it rains too much. Average precipitation Year mm (inches) 1,558 (61.3)
Norfolk Island has the same problem. Good weather all year round, but it rains a lot. For ex. In June, July and August it rains 20 days out of the 30 days in the month.
In Rapa Island it rains a lot. Average precipitation year mm (inches) 2,435.9 (95.90)
The climate of Santa Elena does seem perfect to me, since it rains very little, but I would not like to live on such a small island (120 km2). Furthermore, this climate is the same as that of the Canary Islands. To live on an island, I prefer the Canary Islands, which are larger than the island of Saint Helena, and are not so isolated and far from Europe.

I suspect these tropical/near-tropical islands get heavy rainfall concentrated in the evenings though? So relatively few hours of rainfall per week, and more likely at times when you're indoors. That's part of the reason why I think I wouldn't mind humid tropical/subtropical climates - I don't think they get as much fog and drizzle/light rain as we do here in the mid latitude cold half of the year.
In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria it rains only 22 days a year. The city has 2822 hours of sunshine a year.
