Not yet, KBOX still pondering.. All models are cold and snowy except the lovely GFS which is warmest.

But here's a look at the Euro12z sounding for White Plains NY in Westchester County.(suburb of NYC) Snowing overnight, Raining later on. Notice the lines go way past the freezing mark and together means moisture.

If you know you're coordinates, I will check the sounding for you..I have some time tonight. It will show you what the model shows for the entire atmosphere above you

The uppers aren't even that cold in Northern Minnesota. Around -13c and here we are having -15c uppers a week ago and only getting -7c. I can never understand that.

Slight risk of severe weather tonight for my area.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT ACROSS PORTIONS OF
EAST CENTRAL ARKANSAS...NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI AND SOUTHWEST
TENNESSEE. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ARE THE PRIMARY SEVERE
THREATS. THERE IS A SECONDARY THREAT FOR AN ISOLATED TORNADO IN
THE DELTA REGION SOUTH OF INTERSTATE FORTY AND WEST OF INTERSTATE
FIFTY FIVE.

A FEW STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS NORTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI...THE BOOTHEEL OF MISSOURI AND NORTHWEST TENNESSEE.
STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL ARE THE MAIN THREATS.

2pm temps and radar with a 500mb height zonal flow look. Just amazing to see widespread 30s during the day as far south as southern IL and southern IN and snow accumulations as well. Loving this pattern...

Dont see an end just yet

Tom Niziol FB post.

We have named our next winter storm. This is a mid-March event, 2-part system from blizzard conditions in the Northern Plains to significant snow across Interior New England. Say hello to UKKO, pronounced (You'-Ko), yes, for those looking fro spring in the Northern Plains, Upper Midwest, Great Lakes and Northeast, they might refer to this storm as (Yuck'-ko) : http://wxch.nl/ZBqi9S
