A big part of western Europe hs really very cool temepratures for the season...
Here in the Loire Valley we had a max of 13°C, which is cool, but not that bad compared to other places: Some places had really unusual temps for end of April: 9°C in Toulouse and Montpellier, 8°C in Lyon, 7°C in Nimes, 4°C in Millau and Rodez (well that's a bit in altitude, but it is not a excuse enough for such low temps)
In Spain: 4°C in Cuenca, 5°C in Burgos, 7°C in Leon and Valladolid, 8°C in Madrid, 9°C in Toledo and Salamanca, etc... we are in the End of April
basically this year SUCKS weatherwise so far... i knew 2013 would be unlucky! lol
Someone in my town (Port Townsend, WA) described the weather here this way: It can be 50 degrees F and drizzling on any day of the year. And it's true. We rarely get below 30 in the winter and last summer it never got warmer than about 72.
