Got to 81º here today, not too unusual for September for us on the far north coast of California. But after a record hot June, July and August that followed our third dry winter in a row and a spring with little rain, we are hurting for moisture and the lawns and trees here on the coast are showing signs of some distress. This is our Indian summer coming up and that is when we generally get our hottest weather and we are not used to temperatures that exceed 80º and with humidity that is seldom below 60% and usually over 70%, anything above 80º feels sweltering, that is how today felt.
12.4°C and drizzle
Dew Point: 12.4°C
Humidity: 100%
A bit cool for this time of year, our average high is around 18°C for September.
