I thought the same thing, but Vista location is not at the airport, the Oceanside values are from the airport. Airports tend to be cooler at night. I asked NOAA about this with regards to Hilton Head Island. The sensor there is at this large open site at an airport, while inland at Beaufort the nights are warmer. There is no way Hilton Head Island is cooler than Beaufort at night. I got a reply back explaining that airport readings usually always trend cooler at night. I think that might be the case here.

Oceanside, although I'd have to be as inland as possible, the coast isn't warm enough for me.

But, Infamous, the inland areas also get colder at night than the coast....

Falcons, I think the airport is inland, so that probably explains it.
