I am not a fan of temperatures below 70F, so this affected its rating in my opinion significantly.

D, spent a couple weeks there during the winter and it's too cold for me. The breeze coming off the lake is very uncomfortable during the winter. The summers also get too hot. There are a few months when the weather is very nice, but not enough to make up for the bad months. Chicago is a very beautiful city.

D for me....winters wicked cold, summers hot and humid, too much snow and rain, windy. A few nice months in early Fall and late Spring are about all I like about it.
