Its sunny when I wake up, but dark when I leave work. I think the sun has been going down around 5pm. Ugh.

I get up at 5:50 a.m. to be at work by 6:30 every day. I'm so grateful it's light in the morning now that I don't care if it's getting dark by 5:30 p.m. I'm not a morning person, so I need all the help I can get!

I've become accustomed to the darkness. Up here in Alaska, we goto work in the dark and go home in the dark. Right now the sun comes up around 9:30am and sets around 5:32pm. We're still losing 5:21 of daylight a day and shorter days are ahead. With the standard time back in play, it just seems later than it actually is.

I really don't mind it as much as I once did. I work from home now, so the commute does not come into play anymore.

On the other hand, I love it because dh is home earlier, eats earlier, therefore I can clean the kitchen up earlier and have a bit of free time in the evenings which I truly love!

I would just like us to be like AZ or part of OH, leave the clock alone!

I'm dealing with it fine but I'm still in school and not working a 9-5. It's easier to get up in the morning. I went to work at 7am on Saturday and it was still pitch black.
i get the blues pdq.

I think you're thinking of IN not OH? Indiana now observes daylight saving time too.

If I didn't have to drive home in the dark, and in future months, possibly on snowy roads, I wouldn't mind the darkness either.

Are you saying that Az doesn't have the time changes? Are they on Mountain time?

I'm a vampire so it suits me fine. No seriously, I am a night person so it doesn't bother me at all. I have a customer service job that I do from home at night so I am asleep in the morning when the sun comes up.

I have been wanting to go for a walk at night now thats its cooler here. Everything is so peaceful and quiet at night.
