Wow, Daytona Beach is not as humid as I thought, Charleston and Wilmington both have higher average dew points I believe. Cape Hatteras does too.

They don't. Slightly more variable, though.

Wow! Hatteras had an average dew point over 75 this July! Yeah they are pretty close though, closer than I expected. I agree though breaks in the humidity happen more often here as do extremes I imagine.

We need 4 more days of 70F to break the August 2014 streak. It looks we're just going to end up tying it. A great run either way.

This is the way it should be. A couple dry days for a break, then right back to tropical next week.

Must be the dog days of Summer. Lots of mid 70s around Long Island, NYC, NJ, and even parts of coastal CT

Anything above 82 is suspect. It is "Dover" though... Check out the history. Was 82-84 since 10am.


I do see many 80s and 81s around so maybe off by like 2 degrees? Dover now dropped to 82

FYI ..... Rare dew point for NYC (JFK)

Max Dew point at JFK was 77° this yr July 7 & 14.


So today's 80° so far is the max of the year. I checked back to 2006.. Nope.. None.
