It's not possible to live at minus altitudes here, but you can live at 0 meters on the shores of those artificial islands in Helsinki. Most of them are at 3 meters, though.
There is an area not far from where I live located at 0 metres, it's mostly marshy and boggy. There is an area in Cambridgeshire which is at a minus altitude.
I wondered, who might be the one among us, who lives at the highest altitude above mean sea level.
So please state your exact altitude (look it up with Google Earth). Mine is 296 m above sea level... I'm sure many of you are higher.
I am requesting for a poll to be added to this if thats ok with you.. I think it would be cool to see where a majority of us live. Cool thread!
About 130 meters / 430 feet. The elevation of the Vancouver area in general, though (within the built-up city, not counting the mountains), ranges from sea level to around 400 meters / 1300 feet I believe.
