I think you guys would get bored after a while of living in Singapore, it is just too boring. If you like heat, remember you need A/C to sleep at night, and that uses a hell lot of power in tropical (and sub-tropical) cities.

It takes a really hot humid day in which my city rarely gets to appreciate how much I love the heat and humidity. For cold and snow my complaints are many. I of course pick Singapore; I can still go to the ski resort for a winter vacation, just not to live.
Sorry but the ski resort isn't true...it's fictional, so no vacation. I designed it as a 2000m town adjacent to a subtropical area. Maybe there are similar ski resorts climate-wise, but I don't know any by far.
