Shap in North West England fell from 13.3C (55.9F) to 1.9C (35.4F) in 1 hour today.

The max temp there was 15.8C. It is a Met site so it is accurate. Must have been a fohn effect.

Aye it snowed down to 400m yesterday. The snow is actually still there but it will melt tonight when the tropical sludge arrives.

I have said and still believe snow will arrive by the 20th.

Lets see where these lake effect snow plums settle. Usually Northwest Indiana gets the most, and depending on how strong the winds are, these plums don't usually travel to far from the immediate lakeshore.

See what I mean. NW Indiana is as usual favored to see lake effect snow. Where I live, I probably won't see anything more then just flurries
