Not everywhere, here in the mid latitudes at 44°N we are not even at peak foliage.
Here a video of the aftermath of the St Martin's bora windstorm, on November 11th. Rimini has a fall look but it's still quite "green".

As you may see in this photo, bald cypresses are turning to nice fall colours, while poplars, willows and many others are still almost green

Most trees here are not bare - but a lot are. Won't be long now until they're mostly bare.

11/15/13. Some small ponds have very thin ice on them near here(Danbury). 4 nights in a row in the 20s(F°) or teens but daytime staying above freezing.

Picture of last Sunday in the city park, more and more trees are getting bare now though.

A rare glimpse of sunshine today. It looks weird because my phone is ancient but the low angle of the sun is visible. By solstice it'll be about half that at noon.

No snow yet but today's temperature range was almost normal: -2°C low and 3°C high.

Today was the first day with sunshine since the 9th. Too bad Medvednica was covered by low clouds, otherwise the pictures would look much better.

Lol! Love the flatness.

Would be great to visit the Canadian prairies. Never seen anything like that. But I think I'll come in summer...
