I saw a good video on YouTube a while back. I'd link it but I'm not sure if its allowed on the forum. Just type "New York tornado as it hits south Brooklyn" into YouTube. The video is 4:58 long and it's quite impressive, although I don't think there is a tornado involved.
That storm spawned two tornadoes (after the events seen in the video), an EF0 in Brooklyn and an EF1 in Queens, as well as a 125mph macroburst in Queens, which leveled thousands of trees. Definitely the most intense thunderstorm in recent memory.

Aside from the damage and heartache it caused, it's certainly an impressive storm. I'm never likely to see anything like that in this country.
