I guess it is a little chilly tonight. I notice my wife moved the setting on the pellet stove to high.
We are a touch cooler than Winnipeg
I've not had a pellet stove but our farm had a wood burning one, as did my Uncle's, and it, plus the old fashioned wood burning stove, threw a lot of heat (at times unbearably so). However I do remember it getting mighty cool come morning. re wondering why Woodrow was wearing 3 pairs of socks.
20 cm of fresh snow overnight or about 8 inches. Another 5 cm or 2 inches are possible during the day.
This is the earliest start to the snow season here since around 2007-2008. Although you could tell it was coming: our daytime highs have been consistent with our average overnight lows for the past several weeks so it was bound to happen.
Average highs for this time of year are around +4C but we've mostly been around -4C as a max lately.
Well what do ya know, the day I'm going down to Miami is when it finally decides to get cold here, right now it's 42 F overcast and windy here.
And when I get back, what do ya know? More above average temps You gotta be f****** kidding me....
