This is a homage to the recent crop of spam threads asking the bleeding obvious so here we go.

So, is 38C more likely in winter or summer? Discuss.

Neither. Temps that high don't happen in subarctic maritime climates

Yes, but is it more likely to reach 70F in San Francisco in the middle of summer or in the depths of winter? This has me stumped, thus requiring the postage of a thread so others can help me answer this very, very difficult question.

My friend's cousin's hampster told me that someone should make a thread asking if 70F is more likely at Vostok or in LA.

Vostok easily mate. After all, there is some disagreement on whether LA is more likely or not to see 100F on Christmas than 75F on the same day in NY, despite the fact that neither city has reached those temps in December.

It's more likely to reach a high of 49c in Scotland...at Easter.
