We are half way through July now... based on what youve seen so far and by looking at your weather forecast what do you think your july avg high temperature will be this year? do you expect it to be below or above average?
Im sure England will end up with above average July in 2013, but im not sure by how many degrees...
Above average by a few days, more when this week is over (4 days of 34°C). But why focus on just the highs? The lows will be far more drastically above average.
I think the average will be 17-18C, and the average high will be 22 - 24C. Average min around 11 - 13C, but it's harder to get muggy nights here as the temperature usually falls quite quickly under clear skies. Last night didn't fell below 15C, only because of the low cloud.
The average high so far is exactly 24C. Average low 11.5C. Average 17.8C.
Above average, as always, but less above average than usual, maybe 1-1.5c warmer (about 28c).
Lows will, however, be much more above average of 14.2c, since apart from a few nights, daily lows were from 17-19c.
Most likely above average for London - unless the second half of the month turns out to be very cool - which most models are currently NOT predicting. This will be the first above average month in about eight months (probably more, depending on which 30-year reference period you use). Just shows how cool this year has been so far!
The next 5 days will all be above 30C. Should help the average along nicely.
