I think August will be around average or slightly above average in SE England, as here looks to have the driest & warmest weather, so similar to last August when it was a decent month here...

August is looking average in London.

London weather forecast 14 days - Rain risk - Wind direction - HDD CDD


The monthly average is 23.2C, though tomorrow is the warmest day of the year on average (24.7C).

Ended up exactly average, within 0.1F. So I was correct. August is starting out below average.

August forecast just goes from bad to worse. Our forecast has 17-20°C but today was meant to be 20 and is only 15°C at nearly 2PM, and overcast. August is the cloudiest month of the summer here, and it looks like this will be no exception.

So I think our average max may end up being pretty cold, about 17°C or so.

Average high ended up being 15.9C. As far as July goes, that's a very good result.
