For now it looks like the 3°C above average streak that started in early May is going to continue. Highs have all been in the 23-28°C range while the norm is 21°C. I went swimming today and the warm water was nice but on the whole warmer than average summers are annoying.
Soon enough the yearly temperature peak in late July will pass and time will be on my side again.
Jury is still out. Right now below average, but this coming week will be quite hot. Last July was pretty hot by our standards with an average high of 92.1F/33.4C at Chicago/Midway airport.

The summer has only begun. The cold temps can bugger off to September.
If the weather keeps going the way it's been the last couple weeks it should turn out to be a slightly above average month. We had a fairly warm start to the month, some average and slightly average temperatures afterwards, and now this whole next week is supposed to have highs between 23°C and 26°C (average high in July is 22°C). Nights have also been a bit warmer than average so far this month.
I'm picking the average high for here will be about 14.3C/58F.
The first week averaged 17.5C/64F. By day 11 that had dropped to 15.5C/61F and by the 14th it had dropped to 14.5C/59F.
Temps are supposed to warm by mid week, so I think it can hold some where between 14-14.5C
The average minimum so far is about -0.4C/31F
