July avg is 78.1F(25.6C) , and June of 2010 was 78.2F(25.7C). So even that one year (2010) from 1950 on was basically as warm as the July average. Apparently very difficult for June to match or exceed avg July temps here. Apparently we are more stable in Summer than NW Europe.

Yeah, it's misleading, makes the place look like Paris.
So Greece finally will face a proper heat wave! How long it took to have it again? In fact i was close to label the heat of Greece as another 'myth'.
