Quite chilly today, but nothing exceptional for early March.

1 21°C day

It was 1.6°C warmer than normal, overall the 14th warmest February since 1959. Warmer than average, but nothing to write home about, especially comparing to recent Februaries.

Though 2012 wasn't all that warm!
Meteociel - Climatologie mensuelle de Dax (40)

FWIW here's a graph of the warmest February there, 1990:

Apparently Dax gets about two 20°C+ days above 20°C on average in February (1.8). This year it reached the 20°C mark twice, so completely within the norms.

Now it's our timeto be milder.

Btw London's been milder than Paris this winter, as per usual.

Heathrow vs Orly's Dec/Jan/Feb according to Meteociel:

10.0/4.0°C vs 7.5/1.0°C
7.3/1.2°C vs 4.7/-0.9°C
10.0/5.1°C vs 10.5/4.0°C

6.2°C mean at Heathrow vs 4.4°C at Orly.
Good info, yea Bilbao in Spain also got warmer than normal.

Actual temperatures in Europe... Warmest countries Romania and Bulgaria! Wow many days much above average in those 2 countries and predictions for next days won't change too. Early April for them!

At least Paris will be warmer when it counts. Winter is rubbish in both places. Neither really gets any snow, and are rarely that cold, and neither are warm enough to do anything outdoors either.
At least in spring and summer it will be warmer in Paris, with a much greater chance of heat and storms. And then at least it's a time of year where people will be out enjoying the weather too.
