Lowest record for April will not be broken. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarajevo#Climate

This cold weather has made great damage to raspberries.
Serbia is a major producer of raspberries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raspberry#Production

Damn, a freeze in every month. How can any flowers grow in Sarajevo? Are there any places in Serbia which have mild record lows?

The cold reached Malta today with well below average temperatures & what you would expect in January. 16C was the maximum temperature at Luqa Airport this afternoon...

Today's maximum & minimum temperatures across Europe... Above average in parts of eastern England & Scotland, parts of SW Spain, Portugal & some of the Greek Islands... Below average from northern Europe, down through central & eastern Europe, right the way to the central Mediterranean...

Even a bigger difference in Valencia today and yesterday... January temps, Yesterday was just 16ºC, today just 17ºC. Same for Santander with just a high of 13ºC today! While their January avg is 13.6ºC.

I guess is how the nature balances the warmer days. In Malta which is the average high for April? I see that in Balzan for 1985- is 20.0ºC, in Luqa 1981-2010 is 19.8ºC; which one is in your PWS?

(This is from where I took the data: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_of_Malta). In Valencia the high average during April is 20.8ºC. AEMET datos climatológicos normales - Valencia.

The difference in Malta is that temperatures are far more stable here, 16C at the end of April is not normal at all... Today was the coldest late April day since 2012.

Holy crap, is that -16°C in Schwäbische Alb for real?! If so, must be Sonnenbuhl or some frost hollow?
