No. We have insurance and its really helpful for us as we get everything before everyone else.
Hah, I've dropped/tossed my I phone countless times and it keeps on keeping on
I think having a good case matters - mine has rubber corners and I think that's what protects it against shock when it gets dropped (corner impacts are the worst, since all the energy is concentrated on one spot.)

I have the "speck" black case that everyone seems to have.
I've dropped my iPhone(s) hundreds of times, and never had anything more than a few nicks/scratches, with and without a case. I dropped it in a turtle tank, it survived. I've had one blow out of my hand during Hurricane Sandy, and it survived. I guess I've just been lucky. I don't have insurance either, it's a bit expensive, and it's something I've never needed.
The only phone I managed to break was a Nokia, I had it for about two days.

My weather station recorded 71mph Gust.
They were very frequent which made it incredible.. The power and sound is unforgettable. I can't imagine higher gusts. I am surrounded by trees so the force of the wind is truly amazing..
No flooding here.. Just a lot of trees down. Long Island was worse. Further inland you went the less intense it was.

Long Island. We weren't out during the height of the storm, just the onset (which was still rough), doing last minute shopping. I was getting into the car and a gust of wind blew my phone halfway across the street.
I didn't know it was possible for Iberians to get sunburnt in the British sun. Lol, j/k.
I reckon the best part about a British beach is... well... the British. British guys can be hot. I'd hate the ocean temperature, though.
You have no idea how pale I actually am My natural skin is fair like my wife's. The biggest difference is, she burns and tans lightly and loses it after a few months, I turn brown and lose it after 6 months or so. My dad is a III, mom is a I
