99 F high today for LA Area, strong monsoon that happened last week has not let LA Area break 100F mark for quite some days now, when some locations average 101 F high for this time of year.
Rain caused Landslides that washed away homes on foothill comunities, and caused flash floods so pretty strong to anyone who lives in SoCal that hasnt seen any intense rain in quite some time .
Look adrianna just stop already, still mad that the bay area gets no thunderstorms or heat? Or did the mods find out you created this BS account and ban you again?
Look L.A-mex, that is not a monsoon. That is a simple heavy rain event which can occur almost anywhere given the right conditions. You have no idea what an actual monsoon is. The only thing BS here L.A-Mex is your gross exaggerations of temps and weather events. You might want to tell your friend to move his official Los Angeles weather station away from his blacktop driveway, or at the very least, overlay his driveway with fake grass, then place the station on it.
And don't bad mouth the Bay Area. This area is more beautiful than LA in my opinion, and we don't have that omni-present smog you guys "enjoy". And my area is every bit as sunny as LA and we do get hot weather and we do have CDIP's and Washington/Mexican Fan palms by their dozens. Downtown San Francisco does not represent the climate of the whole area
Thunderstorms are not common in the LA area either, you just happened to cop a rain event of tropical origin..... a rare occurence. So don't go making it out that storms in LA are becoming common, like you have in the LA vs Sydney thread.
look i call it a "monsoon" because the storms we get are remnants of "monsson season" storms of the desert, if you dont like that being called a monsoon talk s**t to the people who came up with "monsoon season".
i dont exaggerate at all please post one of my "exagerrations" and ill happily post a source and make you s*ut up
Oh yeah i get it San jose is a tropical paradise compared to DTSF, the endless 90 F days, the jungle of palms, please, London also has CIDP, does that make it a hot climate?
Youre right DT San fran represents 3/4 of all the bay areas climate.
I never said thunderstorms are common, i said I wish we had more. and i predicted that summer after summer we will continue to get more, is that saying that LA has more thunderstoms than Sydney?
