I'll take Rapid City over ANYWHERE, ANY DAY. This is coming from a FLORIDIAN. Take it from someone who has lived in a hot, humid place the majority of my life (with the exception to two winters in Michigan's U.P.), you can always put on more layers of clothing, but you can only take off so much before you locked up for indecent exposure! Not to mention the fact that you'll still be hot and sweaty even if you're butt-naked. LOL

Rapid City has four actual seasons. You can't beat Rapid for an all-around awesome climate. It's just one of the MANY reasons I can't wait until I move my family up there this coming March. Yeah, I'm a little biased. Sue me.

Ponta Delgada easily. Rapid City has ridiculous highs for 3 months of the year and ridiculous lows for 7 months.
