I give it a B because of cool and rainy summers and the risk of rain during the winter.

D. Winters too cold and too snowy. Spring is VERY delayed. Summers marginal though still ok.

I guess if you like getting up at 5am on most mornings to give yourself time for shoveling snow before the morning commute, then this is a great climate. Otherwise I don't see much going for it.

Like virtually every Canadian climate nothing above a D. This gets a D- for me. The avg March high temp is colder than our Jan avg high, and the April avg low temp is colder than our avg low in December. Terrible winter climate. Summer is decent if you like your summers on the cool side. No thanks.

It's a moderate four season climate where winters are not too cold and summers are not too warm. Rainfall is perfect and I'd actually prefer higher snowfall because there is the risk of rain washing the snow away leaving the ground bare.. this doesn't look like the type of climate where shoveling snow would be an issue like in St John's and even so, I wouldn't mind, I get up at 5am anyway.

The good thing about summers here is that they're very similar to most of England, such as Cambridge, and looking at historical records, most of the time the temperature is above 20C, so that'll do be just fine.

However, I suspected a lot of people on here would not like this climate, but I'm sure most know my preferences by now so it shouldn't be a surprise at all.

D ... not the worst Canada has, by far, but not to my tastes. Though Fredericton gets colder winters it has a much better compensating warm season.

OMG, only 2 months of 70F+ weather, freezing cold winters, and less than 2000 hours of sun? (Even Seattle is sunnier than that!) A definite F.

I think the march record high of 17.5c got well and truly smashed during this march.
