Which is worse, high temperature fluctuations in winter or summer? (snow, hot)

Jeez, how forgetful of me to ignore that all too common perspective...
Winters in FL... If you've ever had any kind of surgery (I have metal plates in my forearm after my tendons/artery got severed) the constant change from 78F to 35F results in excruciating pain... And these fluctuations happen almost every week. Annoying.
Well, imagine you were a homeless person and told that you have a palatial mansion and a 7-figure bank account available to you, but only on Mondays and Thursdays.
Exactly, I'm tired of waiting over a week for one or two days of my favorite weather in July.
I prefer having more fluctuations in winter, because growing up in western Europe, i'm more used to it, and also because more fluctuations in summer would mean more cool days.
Where I live fluctuations are very small though.
When I think of fluctuations in winter, I mean days below 0c and others of like 15c.
Depends more on the temperatures but given a choice, I'd pick a warm subtropical climate that gets occasional cold snaps over a cold oceanic climate that gets an occasional heat wave.
I enjoy the quick temperature drops that my climate experiences. I often go outside when a cold front is passing through to witness the wind shift to the north and the rapid temperature drop that takes place afterward. At first I'm wearing short sleeves and later have to go in to find something warmer.
On March 2 this year it went from 71F to 48F in just 30 minutes.

Summer. Body adjusts to season so being used to 30s then getting 70s is easier although feels like torchure. Going from 90s to 60s in summer is refreshing but the body is used to warmer temps so 60s will be chilly.

And I like these weather type polls better than the climate battle games
Definitely summer, I'd have a meltdown if we went from 95F to 62F in a day. 60-anything for a high would be horribly miserable in the summer.
Going from 95 F during the day to 62 F at night is a common occurrence during our Orange County summer but if we had daytime highs in the 60s, it would be more irritating than a high of 70 F in summer followed by a high of 45 F because summer is supposed to be consistently warm. In winter, it's tolerable to get some mild cold if I know warmth is around the corner. Which is the reason I like New Orleans and Houston and Charleston winters much better than even Bay Area winters. Don't even get me started on San Francisco summers vs. New Orleans winters.
