The rooftop site that closed in 2010? Did they reopen it or something?
The London Weather Centre site stopped being a Met Office site in 2010 (so they ceased funding/upkeep etc.) but it was taken over by an independent weather organisation I believe. So the data from there should still be accurate, as it is basically the exact same station...
Here in Malta another sunny day...
Last Nights Low 23.3C
@ 13:27
Temp 29.6C
Humidity 68%
Dew Point 23.1C
UV Today 10
My PWS reached 32C but it's down to 31.5C now with more cloud. Still the hottest feeling day I've experienced here in years. Almost certain we could have reached 34c without the cloud - but I think I see a clearance.
No cloud here. Let's see where this goes! There's a couple in the city centre at 33C, but not sure how accurate they'll be.
It's certainly hot, and definitely hotter than yesterday.
Currently 31C at Linton on Ouse.

Northolt in London was 34.5C at 12:30 and has passed 35C now according to The news on the radio, can't check other stations as I'm at work though. It clouded over for an hour or two earlier here but is now sunny again
I'm keeping the radio on to listen out for temperatures, it's been over 35C in parts of London for an hour or two now so surely the July record is under threat??
