The 28th of December we had more or less 20cm of snow, and it melted completely a couple of days ago.

Snow on the ground right now, and for the past three days. Before that the last snow was at the beginning of December.

End of November had a few cms of settling snow here but nothing since. Yesterday morning had a rain/snow mix but nothing stuck.

July 25th, 2011, about an inch, although traces stayed around for about 10 days. The last time before that was in 1974, and before that 1939.

I don't think there is a place in the world quite like my area, where snow is so close and frequent (on the nearby hills), and often heavy, yet which very rarely receives snow itself.

Week of Thanksgiving in Pittsburgh, and it was patchy at best in the city. Although the city (via the int'l airport) officially received 2.2", that was because a comparatively intense band set up to the west of the city.
