Here are 5 U.S. climates that are members of the 65 + crowd (not meaning age but meaning that they have annual means above 65 F). Please rank them from your most to least favorite and also give each one a grade in the process.
Please note that each climate is in a different climate zone and I only focused on the U.S's warm climates. Please no posts about how you prefer Singapore or Italy or how you love the cold winters of Minneapolis, etc. to any of thase climates.
I listed them in order from the highest annual mean to the lowest annual mean; not my personal preference.
I will list my own preferences in order in a week but anyone is welcome to guess mine based on my other posts after they rate their own ranking and grades.

Honolulu:
tropical savanna with an annual mean of 77.7 F

Miami: tropical wet and dry bordering subtropical with an annual mean of 77.2 F
Miami - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Phoenix: hot desert with an annual mean of 75.0 F
Phoenix, Arizona - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

New Orleans: purely subtropical with an annual mean of 69.6 F:

Los Angeles's hottest microclimate within city limits: a hot summer Mediterranean climate with an annual mean of 66.3 F
Woodland Hills, Los Angeles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

4. Los Angeles
5. Phoenix

It's close between Miami and Honolulu, except Miami gets way more thunderstorms than Honolulu. The latter gets hardly any, though the temperature and dew points are more comfortable than Miami's.

The other climates aren't so hot.

Woodland Hills isn't LA's warmest microclimate. Haven't you seen the official climate chart for L.A.-Mex's house?

I'm focusing on official weather stations and their 30 year norms; not just the year 2014. Anyway, I'm done bickering with L.A-Mex. He can post whatever he wants and I'll post whatever I want. I saw the thread and decided not to comment on it. I've actually enrolled in an online meteorology class at a community college and will hope to participate in more technical weather discussions as I learn more from this class.

Phoenix has warmer and drier winters than Woodland Hills so did you pick L.A. over it because Phoenix is too hot for you in summer?

Yes Phoenix is a bit too hot for me in the summer... I prefer average summer highs to be no higher than 95F.. hotter than that and it's a bit too hot for me.
As far as grades go:

Honolulu: A+
Miami: A-
Los Angeles: B+
Phoenix: B
New Orleans: B-

Actually, have you ever experienced a dry 105 F? It's a very different sensation than those humid 90 F that you experienced on you tropical destination but some would say it's easier to cool off in the shade with a cold drink in the dry 105 F than the humid 90 F.
