November has been the coldest month of the year around here, but never March.

March 26th 2017 saw five provinces in Norway (incl Oslo and Telemark) record highs of at least 20°C / 68°F. This is the earliest date this has happened. The old record was March 27th in 2012. Before 2012, 20°C had never been recorded in March in Norway.

Another one: In January 2016, Ålesund Airport Vigra recorded both an all-time record low (-11.9°C) for any month, and an all-time record high for the month of January. Another station, Oppdal, did the same in January 2016.

^^ Great tool!

Was looking at February for Paris-Montsouris, spotted a large back to back difference:
Feb 2, 1956: -8.3/-14.7°C
Feb 2, 1957: 19.0/10.7°C

Surrounding years make it look like Washington, DC or something.
Feb 2, 1953: 5.7/1.1°C
Feb 2, 1954: -7.0/-12.9°C
Feb 2, 1955: 7.6/5.4°C
Feb 2, 1956: -8.3/-14.7°C
Feb 2, 1957: 19.0/10.7°C
Feb 2, 1958: 0.2/-3.2°C

With Bridgeport, CT only getting 1.23" yesterday the streak continues. 2nd longest without a 2"+ day. Last time was December 9, 2014!

I got 2.10" yesterday and Meanwhile NYC got 3"+. Just a matter of where the Torrential rains get setup. Not everyone gets it.

With 9.61", this March-April was the second wetter on record behind only 1873.

With 12.78", this is already the 5th wettest spring (March-May) on record with 21 days to go. Only 1873, 2011, 1943 and 1974 were wetter.

With 25.46", this was the 9th wettest October-April. That was after the 19th driest April-October and the worst level of drought in Ontoe County this century.

I think Fort McMurray has the coldest winters for any Canadian city with more than 50,000 people.
