Danilovgrad is another place in Montenegro with very hot summers, often with higher extremes than Podgorica. In May 2021 Podgorica had higher extreme than Danilovgrad, but Danilovgrad had higher in June, July, August and September.
Here are are temperature extremes in Montenegro from May to September 2021 (record lows are left, and record highs are right), comparison between Podgorica and Danilovgrad in monthly highs:
- May (Podgorica 33.1c / Danilovgrad 32.1c) https://abload.de/img/crnagoraekstremnetemp5rkjy.jpg
- June (Podgorica 40.2c / Danilovgrad 40.3c) https://abload.de/img/cgtxn-jun2021.71j2i.jpg
- July (Podgorica 41.2 / Danilovgrad 42.8c) https://abload.de/img/cgekstremnetemperaturiqkun.jpg
- August (Podgorica 39.7c / Danilovgrad 41.5c) https://abload.de/img/cgtxnubrojkama-avgust4gk2t.jpg
- September (Podgorica 32.7c / Danilovgrad 34.9c) https://abload.de/img/cgekstremnetemperaturvpkcz.jpg
Yes, my question was about September 2015

39.7c in September 2015 in Danilovgrad is probably the highest ever recorded temperature in Montenegro. Unfortunately for some years from previous decades for Danilovgrad extremes in the database are missing.

Snow depth in Žabljak today at 7:00 AM was 103 cm, and will increase in the coming days. I don't know for depth of snow in Kosanica, must be lower than Žabljak (due to 130 m lower altitude) but still high. In Han Pijesak (eastern Bosnia) depth of snow today at 7:00 AM was 60 cm. Altitude of Han Pijesak is 1110 m (it is for 210 m lower than Kosanica). Anyway, Kosanica have high snow cover and in the combination with clear sky can have very low daily minimums (conditions for that will be the best in period 11-14 March).

All stations in northern Montenegro plus Crkvice in the south had mean temperatures bellow 0c in the first decade of March 2022. Lowest mean temperature had Viline Vode -8.8c, Njdgovuđa -7c, Kosanica -6.7c, Žabljak -6.5c etc, here is the whole list https://abload.de/img/cgtsr-prvadekadamarta8ljmm.jpg

The Montenegrin March record low (-25.3 C at Zabljak) is from 1987?

I am not sure, but i will try to find. It is not in 21st century for sure.

Another interesting record in Montenegro. Lowest temperature ever in inhabited places in Montenegro in September was -9.2c in Grahovo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grahovo,_Nikšić) on September 30, 1970.

Chances for Kosanica to break Montenegrin lowest ever record for March which still carry Žabljak are still good in the next three mornings.
It didn't happen today. There was too much clouds yesterday and last night, sky became clear in the early morning (too late) and Kosanica dropped to only -16.1c (at 7:00 AM). Daily high in Kosanica today was -3.2c. In the previous several hours sky in Kosanica was mainly cloudy, but soon it should become clear and the temperature will drop drastically.

2012-2022 (10 yrs) March has had more snow than December 8 times.

1990-2022 (32yrs) March has had more snow than December 19 times.

Yes, you were right about the possibilites of a -30 °C temperature at Kosanica. Do you think it will touch -30 again in the coming days?

Karajukica Bunari was 0,2 °C from the Serbian March record.

It's possible again about -30c in Kosanica in the next two mornings provided the evenings and nights are clear and without wind.
As i said yesterday daily high in Kosanica was -3.2c (at 1:30 PM) and this morning (at 6:30) temperature was -30.1c, this means the temperature dropped for 26.9c. Daily high today in Kosanica should be lower than yesterday (according to RHMZ daily high in Karajukića Bunari today should be -4.7c and K. Bunari are for 153 m lower than Kosanica), so there is a good chance for very low minimum tomorrow morning under the conditions which i mentioned in first sentence.

Yes, low in Karajukića Bunari this morning was -27.8c (at 6:25) and it's for only 0.2c higher than in March 2005 (it was -28c).

Low in Njegovuđa near Žabljak this morning was -25.3c (at 5:20), low in Sjenica was -21c, and in Žabljak -18.4c (at 6:20).

Also -30.5 °C this morning in Slovenian frost hollow Mrzla Komna:

https://www.hobolink.com/p/48484c7a9...0fba3467adb0ff

This place recorded -41.1 °C on 2 March 2005.

Greek frost hollow Vathistalo dropped to -25.6 °C yesterday, which is an unofficial March record low for Greece:
