It's us here away from the coast that got the full brunt of that. I see some spots in Maine had a higher dewpoint than Atlanta.

It wasn't pushed East enough at that particular point but Yup, and you probably had a bigger departure than I did. It's nice to be on the interior sometimes.......oh wait.. forgot who I was talking to.

I still love how the storms managed to halt coming here to the coast and then redevelop just 20 miles inland CT.

Constant thunder as it was 40 miles West of here, to completely nothing when approaching, then to distant ones 10 min later when it strengthened again. That was awesome. Maybe it hit traffic.. LOL. Coast has it's Love/Hate moments for sure.

Yeah, there may be colder departures inland but at least I don't miss out on good thunderstorms.

Oh wait...actually yes I do, all the time.

You gotta move north, man...you know very well you won't see a drop of cool air until at least Halloween.

Since you're an avid golfer, do you know which state has the most golf courses? (hint - it ain't Florida)

I would have said definately Florida or California.

According to this it indeed is Florida

Our first break from the sauna last year was October 5th with a low of 69F and dews in the 50's

Haven't been weather forum for a few days. Just checked weather and Sunday's forecast looks very fantastic.
After having a continuous upper 90s to triple digit heat, highs in the lower 80s and lows in the lower 60s means a big relief!

Oh man, I was under the impression it was Michigan. Are the folks up there lying?

In any case, they've got some golf courses in some pretty cool places, including the very tip of the Keweenaw, out in the middle of the wilderness. You're almost guaranteed to never have to wait for a tee time up there...lol.
